Take advantage of the beautiful Nelson regions accommodation. Wakefield is situated south of Nelson city giving a good head start for those trips down south. Wakefield is well situated within easy access of Nelson's wealth of outdoor activities, including many wonderful bush walks e.g. Abel Tasman, "Kahurangi National Park" and Nelson Lakes.

Another walk in the Wakefield area is Baigents Reserve.

There are many Bush Walks and short day walks in the Nelson area. Walk to the centre of New Zealand and have a birds eye view of Nelson City and harbour.

The Wakefield house is in the trees next to Faulkners Bush and Waikari Reserve. It is only a short walk through the bush to the Wakefield village shops and restaurant where you can have your evening meal. View the Wakefield Village.
